Sarah + Jacob | Backyard Wedding in San Antonio

I met Sarah in a desert camping and poetry class (yes, you read that right). Over the course of a couple of weeks, camping and creating throughout the southwest of Texas, Sarah revealed herself to be one of the coolest, funniest, smartest, most creative people I have ever known. We shared poems and paintings. We shared our stories and talked about our lives.

And she talked about Jacob, a lot. And the way she talked about him was incredible. As far as I was concerned, Jacob was the greatest man to ever walk the earth. And in the short span of getting to initially know Sarah, I felt like I was getting to know Jacob as well.

Fast forward a year and a half, and I’m getting to photograph one of the most gorgeous weddings in the world, in Sarah’s parents’ backyard, with their family present in person, and their friends present on a live stream. It was a day full of love, laughter, fun, and beauty.
